Creating a Ticker and Embedding it as your Forum Signature

Step 1
Welcome to Ticker Tocker, to create your first Ticker, click on the TICKERS link in the top menu, as indicated by the pink arrow.

Step 2
Choose your Category which best describes the event you are counting down until, or have some fun and browse the available sections to see if anything takes your fancy! In this example I will be creating a MICRO ticker for my wedding.

Step 3
I now have to choose the ruler, this is the static image which is effectively the background for my ticker. I choose the one I like by clicking the radio button (the first pink arrow) and then clicking 'Next' to progress onto the next screen.

Step 4
I now choose an ICON for my ticker. This is the part of the image which will move across the background that we have chosen above. You also have the option here to vertically align the icon in the TOP, MIDDLE or BOTTOM of the RULER.

Step 5
Enter the date of the event you are counting down the days until and enter in your own message to go at the bottom! Click NEXT to take you to the final screen!

Step 6
Thats it! A really simple process. Now you can see your ticker, it is time to embed this into a forum that you use or a social networking site.

Step 7
Double click in the SINGLE IMAGE FORUM CODE and copy this to your clipboard, and head on over to your site where you want this displayed.

Step 8
This is a typical profile screen for a forum style site. Find where it says Signature and click into this box, then pasting the code snipped you copied earlier. Click save, or update profile to put this into effect.

Step 9
Now when you post, your signature will be the ticker that you have created, and it will be updated every day, moving a little bit closer to your goal!
